12 - 13 February 2015

Welcome to Biology15, the Swiss conference on organismic biology. Biology15 is the 2015 annual joint meeting of the Swiss Zoological Society, the Swiss Botanical Society, and the Swiss Systematics Society.

Biology meetings take place every year to celebrate Darwin's birthday and to share the latest scientific research in ecology and evolution. We are excited to host this event at Eawag, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, at our Dübendorf Campus close to Zürich! Biology15 will take place on 12 and 13 February 2015. Download our poster here!

Besides four keynote lectures by established Swiss and international researchers, Biology15 will provide the opportunity to young scientists from Swiss universities and research institutions to present their work. Download the detailed program here!

Of course, social activities will not be missing! We will celebrate Darwin's birthday with due respect at the Darwin Dinner and hope to meet you at one of our coffee breaks and at our poster apéro.

For young scientists and established researchers, but also for practitioners the pre-symposium PACE15 on Plant and Animal Conservation Ecology will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas. PACE15 will take place on 11 February 2015 at Eawag.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at Eawag and hope that you will have a great conference, meet interesting people and learn a lot about the latest research on organismic biology in Switzerland!
